Split ducted air conditioning is a great solution for air conditioning an entire home or large office space.  Split ducted systems comprise of the indoor unit concealed in the ceiling space, the outdoor condenser fan unit, duct in the ceiling space and air outlets in each room.    Split ducted systems may be zoned to control air flow to different areas of the home/office.  This zoning could be designed, for example, to air condition living areas during the day and bedrooms during the night, however there are many possibilities.  Many split ducted systems are ‘reverse cycle’, which means they cool in summer and heat in winter.  The temperature, zoning and hours of operation are controlled by a simple, easy to use touch pad.  Split ducted can also be a great alternative if there is not a lot of room in the ceiling space (or parts of the ceiling space) as side blow grilles can be installed into bulk heads.
